A lovely theory I've heard of how to reduce key price from a BM regular:

Hold another crafting event similiar to the Golden Wrenches. Explaination in green text format.

>dumbasses want shiny thing

>everyone crafts craft hats

>no craft hats

>everyone crafts metal

>less metal in circulation

>idling is fixed, less weapons coming into circulation

>weapons = metal

>less metal, people willing to pay less for keys

>keys have to drop, less metal in circulation

The problem with affecting key prices is that you cannot touch them directly.

If Valve held a sale on keys, unusual prices would drop since more people would unbox.

Plus, they would only drop for that sale.

Fuck with the metal, then the keys drop. <3

I remember i quit tf2 a year ago when keys were 2.33, then i came back on a few weeks ago to see people buying and selling keys for 5.66. Good thing i still had some keys in my inventory

I've always imagined those guys who stocked up on keys, laughing from their virtual mansions at us poor people.

Go hit up Sandy's MvM server, there IS a medieval mode MvM map on there, it's quite interesting.

Wait, so there is a way to have medieval mode IN MvM. Well, I think I just figured out what to do for a time waster.
